More Important Than Ever

  • Starts Jun 5 at 5:00 PM UTC

Gender-affirming care is more important than ever.

Trans and nonbinary people are still here. The Clinician's Guide to Gender Affirming Care exists because mental health clinicians who care and are committed to being gender-affirming and supporting trans communities to thrive in their lives are still here too. Because you are choosing courage. Because you understand that gender-affirming care is not optional—it is life-saving, dignity-affirming, and rooted in the most fundamental ethics of our professions.

To celebrate the launch of our 2nd edition of The Clinician's Guide to Gender Affirming Care, join authors Drs. Sand C. Chang and Anneliese A. Singh for a gathering for clinicians and providers who are dedicated to ensuring trans and nonbinary people have access to ethical and life-affirming resources. The format of this 45-minute conversation will include: remarks from the authors, grounding in the history of gender-affirming care, updates to the book, and affirmation of the joy of continued care and solidarity.

This is a free Zoom gathering. Registration on Zoom is required in order to receive the link.

NOTE: The event will not be recorded - it is for live attendees only.
