Foundations of Body Liberation
Most of us have been steeped in diet culture without knowing it. When we start to wake up and realize the impact of diet culture on our bodies, lives, and how we feel about ourselves, it's hard to know what to do. This introductory course will help you to establish a foundation of unlearning so that you can move toward feeling more liberated in your body.
This course contains about 6 hours of content, including lecture, video, worksheets, meditations, and resources.

Sand Chang, PhD (they/them) is a Chinese American nonbinary queer psychotherapist and DEI consultant/trainer.
Sand has a personal and professional commitment to body liberation for all people. They work at the intersections of trauma, trans health, and eating disorders using a combination of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing (SE), EMDR, and anti-oppression frameworks.
Sand co-authored A Clinician's Guide to Gender Affirming Care (New Harbinger, 2018) and the APA Guidelines for Psychological Practice with Transgender and Gender Nonconforming Clients (2015).
Outside of work, Sand is a dancer, food top, punoff competitor, and small dog enthusiast.
