Shifting Center supports education that will help us all to do better. We believe that unlearning is necessary for a liberated world.

Shifting Center Education aims to provide education that intentionally centers non-dominant groups and narratives that you don't find in mainstream education.

In this workshop, we will discuss the application of IFS with respect to gender, trans experience, and living in a ciscentric world. We will also discuss experiences navigating being trans and/or nonbinary providers in the IFS community. The presenters will highlight how “all genders welcome” and “all parts welcome” must apply across the intersections of race, class, age, and other cultural identity markers.
